This is a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) related breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler fΓΌr Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Kriegsmarine-Truppen') being a 'standard-pattern-example as executed in the 'BeVo'-weave-pattern on a darker-blue-coloured background and that comes in a very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece - which is of the pattern that was worn on the various darker-blue-coloured tunics throughout the second world war - comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition and comes 'as straightly cut-off the role'. It is nicely woven in golden-yellow-toned linnen and is executed on a typical, darker-blue-coloured- (and also linnen-based-) background. The piece just shows some minor staining simply caused by years of storage only. I deem that this attractive WH 'Kriegsmarine'-related breast-eagle is accordingly priced!
