'Deutsches Reich Kennkarte' - Civil Indentification Card. Introduced in July 1938. Every German citizen was issued one, and was expected to show it when asket to by officials. This ID-card belonged to a woman from the area of Dortmund, it was issued to her on July 8 1940. The oilcloth ID-card is in used condition and has been perforated. Nice original example!
