Beautiful textbook M35 steel helmet, reissued example ca. 1942. This helmet, was factory reissued during the war, receiving a new thick rough field green layer of paint and a new decal. The decal is a textbook example that I like to see on reissued helmets, being produced by Pocher. It shows sharp details and is nearly 100% intact. The helmet is complete with its 1940 dated liner and you can clearly see the split pins are untouched and straight. The leather itself is supple and remains in very good condition, being executed in desirable pig-skin. The helmet is complete with its full lenght chin strap maker marked with RBNr. 0/0462/0010. Shell markings are not clearly visible due to the thick sand mixed paint, but I can read ET66. This helmet was found on a Belgian attic near our shop a few days ago and was never in a collection before. A beautiful UNTOUCHED M35 army steel helmet!
