He was listed as having been wounded in the casualty list dated 31-7-1915 & was awarded his Territorial Force efficiency medal in army order 275 of 1919 & his clasp was awarded in the same army order. He was still serving with the battalion when it became the 45th (Leeds Rifles) battalion Royal Tank Regiment in 1939. He was awarded the efficiency medal with territorial suspender in 1947 & was commissioned in to the R.A.C in 1940.Lightly polished GVF/VF with conformation of all medals & clasps. Along with London gazette details for his commission & two copy group photographs of the recipient in uniform dated 1939.
