This is a neat - and with certainty unusually encountered! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) related side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schiffchenadler für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Kriegsmarine') being a 'variant'-pattern and neatly hand-embroidered example as was executed in bluish-grey linnen onto a white-coloured background and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem never used- nor pre-folded ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece - which is of the pattern that was worn on the various white-coloured side-caps throughout the war - comes in a very nice condition as can be noticed on the pictures. The piece just shows some minor staining simply caused by years of storage and/or handling. I deem that this attractive - and actually scarcely seen! - WH 'Kriegsmarine'-related, 'variant'-pattern side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schiffchenadler für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Kriegsmarine') is accordingly priced!
