Description

This is a neat - and I deem never used! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) related (and presumably EM- ie. NCO-pattern-) machine-embroidered breast-badge ie. eagle-device as was specifically intended for staff-members working within the WH (Luftwaffe) so-called: 'Generalluftzeugmeister' (ie. 'GL') organisation and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never tunic-attached- and/or: 'virtually mint'-), condition. This fairly unknown, TR-period-organisation - which was staffed with merely civilian personal but had commissioned (ie. air-force-) staff in the lead - was presumably active in various industrial tasks dealing with the greater Luftwaffe. There is not much reference-work for the exact tasking ie. usage of these breast-badges. The patch on offer here is a detailed example that is executed in black-coloured, linnen-based thread as woven onto a typical golden-yellow-coloured (and also linnen-based) background. The badge - which is regular-sized and measures from corner to corner approximately 14 cms. - shows some minimal aging simply caused by years of storage only. Simply an attractive - and most certainly unusually encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe) 'Generalluftzeugmeister'-related breast-badge that is priced according to its comparative scarcity and/or desirability!
