Description

The attractive - and I deem just moderately used- ie. worn - example of a (magnetic) black-class wound-badge (ie. 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz') that truly retains almost all of its original, black-coloured- and/or somewhat 'matted'-like finish: it only shows just minimally wear and was simply nicely preserved over the years. The wound-badge is - as stated above - neatly maker-marked with the makers'-designation: '4' (as is clearly visible on the back of the badge as can be seen on the pictures)that signifies that it deals with a piece that was produced by the desirable 'Steinhauer & LĂŒck'-company as based in the town of LĂŒdenscheid. Of course, are the (regular- ie. thin-shaped- and also magnetic) pin and/or: (typical) catch (-set-up) fully functional and of course present. This piece has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some obvious dust and/or minimal staining as to be expected. It will be hard to upgrade this neat and untouched example!
