WH (Heer) Artillery EM/NCO Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased visor cap, complete with celluloid manufacturers sweat-diamond ('Raute') marked by the famous tailor 'Peküro'. The cap is size '59' marked inside the sweatband and named to Kannonier 'Tiemann'. The Visor cap is piped in the red 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for Artillery personnel. The cap is complete with its rare original early 1st pattern cap eagle and cap cocarde. The simulated leather chinstrap is in good condition. The cap shows normal traces of usage and storage and is in overall good used condition with some minor (moth)damages, see photos. Nice and rare original early Artillery Visor Cap!
