The very attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe), officers'-type shoulderboards is neatly piped in the typical golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of a: 'Leutnant der Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen' (or: lieutnant who served within a pilots'- ie. paratrooper-regiment or unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never used- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. issued'-), condition. The boards have the (bright) silverish-coloured 'upperdecks' something that is to be expected with a Luftwaffe-pattern pair (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards show the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected). The boards come mounted onto their (typical smaller-sized) officer-type tongues attached. The boards measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and were possibly issued- but simply never worn and do just show some storage-age ie. staining as to be expected. The pair - that was recently found at a German private-household. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this truly 'minty' pair came still packed in its period (typical 'Cellophan'-based!) 'wrapping-pouch' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and desirable! - WH (Luftwaffe), officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen' and that will be impossible to be upgraded!
