This is an attractive - and fully matching! - medal-set: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords) comprising of a non-maker-marked (and/or neatly 'Buntmetall'-based!) specimen that comes packed in its original pouch of issue as was produced by the (unusually found!) Austrian maker- (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Franz Jungwirth' as was based in the town of Wien (Vienna) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem issued but simply hardly worn- nor used-), condition. The medal came together with its original, minimally confectioned, bright-red-coloured and pre-folded (and approx. 19 cms. long-sized) ribbon and came packed in its neat (regular-sized 'Zellstoff'-based) pouch (which is fully complete but that shows some minor age as can be seen on the pictures). The medal - which is a very nicely preserved 'Buntmetall'-based specimen - was I deem issued but simply hardly used nor worn. The medal has a quite 'shiny' (ie. golden-bronze) coloured age-patina and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The pouch comes as stated above in an equally nicely preserved condition: it shows the printed makers'-designation of the 'Franz Jungwirth'-company (as is printed on its back as stated above). It should be noted that the 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mite Schwertern'-award is quite commonly encountered: those matching sets are most certainly NOT! Simply one of the nicest, and fully matching 'KvK II.Kl. mit Schwertern'-medal-sets by this particular maker I had on offer for quite some time!
