Italian M1871 Bayonet Torino Arsenal, Long Spring Grip

Original period manufacture. Bright finished steel blade with an even steel patina, light cleaned corrosion pitting near the tip. Brown hard rubber grips, basically sound with some light chipping to edges on each grip plate. Guard and pommel show an even steel patina with evidence of light corrosion pitting. Fairly sound leather bodied scabbard with stitching that has started to separate towards the bottom, brass throat and chape stamped CM. No nicks or sharpening to the blade. The blade does not fit all the way into the scabbard, looks to have been shortened at some point.
