original m40 single decal wehrmacht helmet with a beautiful 2-tone camo layer.It also appears to have had a net over it at some point, and a winter camouflage layer was applied at some point (see photos).the inner rim of the helmet is also camouflaged darker.a name is still written in the leather of the interior.The maker is not clearly visible, but I assume it was the repairer ET (Eisenhüttenwerke Thale)and the helmet size 66.a real eye-catcher in any collection
