In a very good condition a US WW2 M1 Combat helmet Swivel bale front seam version.The McCord made helmet comes with the original paint, original chinstraps and attached a stunning 2 bar rank decal on the front of the helmet, indicating use by a Captain.Inside the shell productionnumber 878B is stamped.Also the laundrynumber of the owner/former owner is marked S-6793.The helmet comes with an early attached high pressure liner made by Westinghouse and has on the outside also the captain bar present.A very stunning matching officer's helmet!
