M38 Luftwaffe single decal paratrooper 'Fallschirmjäger' helmet ET68

Beautiful and worn M38 pattern paratrooper steel helmet. Original green coating is present. The decal is present and shows similar aging with the rest of the helmet. The helmet is complete with an all original liner. The leather is supple and strong, complete with its rubber paddings. The stampings remain cleary visible; Karl Heister, Berlin C2. Size marked; Kopfweite: Gr.57, Stahlhaube-Nr. 68. The chin straps are nearly complete missing the buckle and snap buttons on the end. The shell is marked on the side by ET, size 68 and has the lot number 4779. Stunning and hard to find helmet.
