British Cold War Era MoD Survival Knife & Scabbard, 1988

Original era manufacture. A very massive knife, with a 7 inch parkerized finish blade, thick wooden slab grips and heavy brown leather scabbard.There is some scattered corrosion staining to the blade surface, but the edge is factory sharpened and the point is not damaged.Marked on the grips, serial number and JA 1988 Broad Arrow, and on the opposite side, Sheffield England.Heavy leather scabbard which is held together with numerous large copper rivets, pommel strap is intact.Overall, the knife appears to be unused, the only issues being the corrosion staining from poor storage.
