Description
This rare RZM pattern cuff title has an interesting history, in that it was worn by members of Organization Todt, named after the late Fritz Todt, and headed by Albert Speer. Their main mission was conducting military construction projects in mostly the Eastern front, under the command of the SS Economic and Administrative Main Office (SS-Wirtschaft-Verwaltungs-hauptamt). The unit's work included the construction of military bunkers, airfields, and concentration camps. They used both slave labor and SS engineer labor — including from the Netherlands' volunteers. A rare piece of SS cloth, missing from many collections. COA accompanies.
