Rare larger type German World War 1 15x60 Binoculars (Doppelfernrohr). The Carl Zeiss 'Doppelfernrohr 15x' is a powerful military binocular produced during the First World War by 'Carl Zeiss' as sold and issued to the Austro-Hungarian army. The binoculars have 15x magnification and a 60mm objective lens, making them suitable for long-distance observation and aiming. The binoculars are having a built in tripod mount and are often seen in WW1 photos on tripods in trenches. The binoculars are in very good condition with undamged 'Bakelite' eyecups. The Binoculars are nicely maker marked by the company of 'Carl Zeiss' from Jena and marked with the unique serial number '486544'. The binoculars are in very good condition, the optics are clear. The binoculars are complete with original lens protection lens caps. Rare original WW1 binoculars!
