The VDA was a German cultural organisation aimed at promoting and maintaining German culture abroad. Throughout its time the badge changed several times, this is the 5th pattern.Silver circular badge 18.5mm dia. with stick-pin fixing on the reverse. No makers mark. Very nice condition with some traces of verdigris in some recesses.
