US Cold War US Navy Officers Sword, German Mfg., A Beauty

Original period manufacture. A near new condition regulation US Navy Officers sword, made in Germany and imported by Hillborn-Hamburger of New Jersey.Flawless 32 inch chromed steel blade running straight and true, etched panels on each side of the blade with area reserved for the owners name to be engraved. Gilded brass guard and pommel, with an imitation fish-skin grip which is bound with double strand twisted wire.Leather covered, metal bodied scabbard with beautifully gilded metal fittings. The sword is a lovely example, showing minimal handling and wear.
