Belgian, Korean War Era, British Pattern Wolseley Sun Helmet, Levior 1954

Original era manufacture. A very sound example of the classic British inspired solar helmet as worn in many tropical areas of the world. Made by the famous helmet manufacturing firm of LEVIOR, and so marked under the sweatband, with a 1954 date, and size 57. The helmet is complete with its original liner and leather chinstrap, and at some point in its life, acquired a Gordon Highland flash on its left side. Perhaps worn by a member of that famed regiment, or collector applied for display. Great looking old helmet.
