German WWII West Wall Skull Ring

German WWII West Wall Skull Ring- This is a silver plated ring that is unmarked. It displays a highly detailed skull with skull and cross bones on the front with the words WEST WALL on each side of the skull. There are detailed oak leaves seen above the script on each side. These rings were typically worn by SS troops, but anyone in the armed services could purchase these rings. Some of the lesser or midrange quality rings would be purchased in the local canteen or base commissary. Rings like this one that are of better quality were privately purchased. This ring is a size 7 ½ and shows some light finish loss in spots.This is very good condition and a very desirable piece!
