Small Child's ' Mickey Mouse ' Respirator.

Sold
£85.00

Description

example of the small child's respirator contained in it's original cardboard case and complete with explanatory leaflet. Produced in a child friendly orange rubber with a blue coloured filter similar to the American produced child's mask that was specifically designed to look like Mickey Mouse and to be less frightening to children. The British version was less convincing and this example was produced by the Leyland and Birmingham Rubber Company Ltd., in 1940 and is fitted with the Cortex Extension filter. In good, supple condition with all elastics intact. Cardboard case in used condition with some marking, rubbing complete with carrying strap. Excellent example.
