S.S. Dunera British India Steam Navigation Company Badge c.1901

A rare original post circa 1901 Victorian period 'S.S. Dunera shipping line pin badge'; large gilt blue enamel convex title surround, Britannia and Lion to voided centre displaying a 'Union Flag' and British India Steam Navigation Company house flag.; the reverse impressed with 'Reg.No 387932' a design and registration date of 1901. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example.Diameter approx 32mm.SS Dunera was a British troopship in the Boer War.
