King's Commendation for Brave Conduct plastic economy badges in Box of Issue

A scarce original circa 1943 first issue pair of wartime 'King's Commendation for Brave Conduct gold colored plastic economy issue badges' in the form of a Crowned oval laurel wreath; within the wreath a tablet inscribed 'For Brave Conduct' superimposed on an upright sword all on a red plastic ground, the reverse impressed in relief with Registration Number 'R.D.839943 PAT. APP. FOR'. Very good condition, complete with the original box of issue and certificate, complete with original pin fittings, colour remains good, slightly bowed.Height approx 37mm.
