British war and Victory Medals, named to:25197 PTE.R.B.PARDON.D.OF CORN.L.I.Medals extremely fine, ion original silk ribbons25197 Pte.Robert Pardon Brown 12th Bn., Duke Of Cornwall's Light Infantry died on 17th May 1916 aged 37 years.The son of Clara Maria Pardon, of The White House, Trimingham, North Walsham, Norfolk.He lived at Trimingham, Norfolk and enlisted at Norwich.He is commemorated on La Neuville Communal Cemetery, Corbie.He is also listed on The Trimingham War Memorial in The St. John The Baptist Church,one of only six people so honoured.
