Description

This is a very attractive - and most certainly very decorative and actually scarcely encountered! - RAD- (ie. 'Reichs-Arbeitsdienst'-) specific 'Umhang'- (= cape-) closure comprising of both 'RAD-logo'-buttons ie. plaques, back-plates- and/or matching attachment-chain that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly used- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. All pieces - excuted in neat, so-called: 'anodised' aluminium-based metal - truly show extraordinary detail and do hardly show any wear. The set - that is totally void of a makers'-designation as more often - can naturally still be used to complete a RAD officers'-pattern 'Umhang' (cape) if wished so but can naturally also serve as a very decorative 'Reichs-Arbeitsdienst'-piece. Both 'RAD-logo' buttons ie. plaques still retain their original three (ie. four) prongs as to be expeted. Simply a very nice and surely unusually seen RAD-item: only the second such neat set I ever had on offer!
