Japanese WWII Navy Officer's Visor Cap Named

Japanese WWII Navy Officer's Visor Cap Named-This handsome cap is produced in dark navy-blue wool. It is in good condition with minor wear and discoloration only. Please be aware that it is slightly misshapen and should pop up on a mannequin or head stand. The center band is ribbed black cotton. The insignia consists of a gold bullion wreath, a metal anchor and a metal chrysanthemum. The black patent leather chinstrap and black leather visor have very slight age crazing but are otherwise very good. The interior is fully lined in purple rayon that has separated from the sweatband and shows minor wear. The black leather ersatz sweatband is in very good condition. The owner stitched his name into the lining in gold on black rayon. It is size 54. Overall excellent condition!
