NSDAP 'Freiheit u. Ehre - Gautreffen Westfalen-Nord' 1936 Tinnie (Veranstaltungsabzeichen) as issued for participants to the Gau-Treffen held in Gelsenkirchen in 1936. The design is showing the 'Deutschland Erwache' Standard for 'Ludwig Knickmann' in front of industrial factories. Knickmann was a fallen SA-Member from the 'Period of Struggle' (Kampfzeit) before the gaining of power of the NSDAP. The woven cloth type tinnie has a pin-back device to its sheet metal reverse. The tinnie is maker marked by the company 'Dr. R. Morissse & Co.' from W.-Elberfeld. Rare and decorative original NSDAP tinnie in very good condition!
