Heer 1st Pattern Tropical Pith Helmet, Badged as Kriegsmarine

This is an outstanding Heer pith helmet, badged for KM, with golden eagle shield and borderless national shield. Consignor reports that he obtained the helmet from a Dutch family, who had owned it for many years, and it had those badges on it. Inspection of the helmet overall reveals a fully original and unaltered piece, with evidence of the re-application of the shields at some point, leaving an extra hole at one badge pin array. An excellent piece for the tropical display. COA with caveat accompanies.
