Vintage UK Policewoman's Short 'Handbag' Truncheon by HIATT circa 1960

Here on offer is what I am told is an original 1960's UK policewoman's short truncheon, made by HIATT.It has been made from what I think is a strong hickory wood with a multi-ringed grip and it is in excellent undamaged condition.It still retains a thick leather hand strap that is held in place by two rivets through the leather. On one side of the strap it is stamped with the maker's name, being HIATT.HIATT is a main supplier of equipment to the UK Police Force.These smaller truncheons are actually hard to come by in such good condition.It measures 10.4' (26.4cm) long by 1.2' (3cm) diameter at the wide end.It weighs 158g.Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
