Here on offer is Boer War commemorative pressed gilt metal star shaped pendant, depicting a sepia photo of General Sir Field Marshal Lord Roberts, circa 1900.The eight pointed star shaped pendant has a star-burst pattern on each point.In the centre it has a circular paper photo image of Lord Roberts in military uniform with his name ROBERTS.It comes with a tiny length of string still attached in a loop at the top.The reverse has a plain gilt finish and there isn't a maker mark.There is some wear to the gilt finish on the front and a couple of scratched to the photo image, as shown in my photos.Sir Field Marshal Lord Roberts (30th Sep, 1832 – 14th Nov, 1914) was the Commander-in-Chief of the British Forces in South Africa at the outbreak of the second Boer War in 1899.It measures 1.5' (3.8cm) diameter and weighs 3g.Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
