Third Reich : Wehrmacht / Heer (Army) Hauptfeldwebel's M-40 Service-tunic with Orange Arm-of-Service Colour.

Nice original M40 pattern tunic with stitch-in Hauptfeldwebel's orange piped epaulettes, silver-wire BEVo breast-eagle, six-button front complete with all original buttons and fitted belt-hooks. The pockets are all the M40 flat patch style with a flat strip pleat, The tunic has a dark green collar with silver NCO tress and orange backed Waffenrock pattern collar patches. I assume this enhancement was for dress / walking-out or recruiting purposes. The tunic is lined with rayon/silk with a field-dressing pocket and has the size / issue stamps inside the front flap. The tunic has a slot behind the left skirt pocket flap for a dagger-hanger.The tunic has its original four medal ribbon-bar attached through loops but no loops for other awards.The tunic has certainly seen service but has no holes or damage other than some minor wear to the lining.
