Description
Canadian made Battle Dress Jacket as intended for an British 'Royal Artillery' Lieutenant assigned to the 21st Army Group. The Battledress was made according to the British 1937 Pattern. The Battledress was the standard uniform for all Army Personnel, officers and other ranks in the theatres of operations. The size 10 battle dress jacket is nicely maker marked and dated April 1945. The jacket is complete with '21st Army Group' patches sewn below 'Royal Artillery' titles. Two metal rank pips indicating a Lieutenant's rank are are attached to each shoulder-board. All insignia are original period applied. The jacket has been tailor converted into an open V-style collar. Nice original tunic in very good condition!
