WW2 North Riding of Yorkshire Special Constable police reserve numbered badge

A good original Second World War period 'Special Constable chromium plated badge'; King George VI crowned blue enamel title surround 'North Riding S.C', the centre bearing an embossed Yorkshire Rose; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham' and impressed with official issue number '1827'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.Height approx 29mm.
