German WWI Early Army Belt Buckle

German WWI Early Army Belt Buckle-This is a gorgeous example of an early army combat buckle. We never get to see them in this condition! The green paint on this example is 95% intact. There is some missing on the highest details of the crown, but this is minimal. Just take a look at this buckle to see what these early army buckles are supposed to look like with their original green combat paint. The reverse also retains its original olive green finish and features a 'U' shaped catch with steel roll bar and prongs. This is a terrific example of an early heer buckle.
