Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery War Badge (Kriegsabzeichen für die Marineartillerie). The Coastal Artillery War Badge was introduced on 24 June 1941 by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine und Großadmiral 'Erich Raeder' for award to land based Naval coastal artillery and anti-aircraft personnel in recognition of their achievements. The badge is a late war zinc example, the badge still retains all of its original finish showing great detail. The badge is complete with its functional pin and catch. The badge is not visible maker marked but can be attributed to production by the company of 'Alois Rettenmaier' from Schwäbisch Gmünd. Nice original badge in very good condition!
