Beautiful M35 Quist 'Bigfoot' with Original Camo Cover

This fine ensemble comes from a very advanced and discriminating collector. The helmet is a Q-64 M40, #1147, with rough schiefergrau overpaint, covering the tricolor, but leaving the Adler decal exposed. This decal is a 'bigfoot,' Quist. The liner and strap are complete and show strong service use. Evidence of white camo (whitewash?) is visible under the grey topcoat, and creates an overall 'chalky' appearance. I at first assumed it was scrubbed whitewash overpaint, but noticed that the white is actually peeking out from under little chips and chunks in the schiefergrau. A very cool, original feature. To top this off, the cover is a perfect, lightly service used, likely field made, water pattern camo cover, completely original and very untouched.
