A rare ORIGINAL circa First World War period 'H.M.S. Sirdar cap tally ribbon', gold bullion embroidered lettering with small dots on extra long silk ribbon. Very good condition.Length approx 123mm.HMS Sirdar was a Admiralty S-class destroyer launched in 1918 that saw service in World War I, the destroyer was transferred to the Mediterranean Fleet at the end of 1919 in time for the Turkish War of Independence.She retired in 1934.
