White blanco top with dark blue woool cap band. Original wartime tally band 'HMAS', this replaced the earlier tally bands with ships names for security. Cotton draw string liner. Ordnance marked with ink stamp ' Made in Australia' 'RAN' Sizw 6 3/4. A lovely wartime service used example.
