WW II Imperial Japanese Army – LEATHER FLIGHT HELMET – WINTER VERSION – NOS!

You are bidding on a VERY NICE used example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Winter Flight Helmet!This was used by various Japanese Pilots and Crew Members throughout the war.Made of a rich dark brown leather, this Flight Helmet is in EXCELLENT used condition!It is constructed of 8 separate pieces of brown leather, with a 5 pointed Japanese Army Star on the front.The ear cups are complete, and made of hardened leather, each having 30mm holes in the center for mounted the communication equipment/receivers.All straps are fully functional, and all the buckles and tabs work perfectly. Sadly, one of the snaps to retain the goggle strap is missing, but that is an easy fix.The manufacture stamp (written in Kanji), is stamped into the earpieces and is clearly legible.Some wear and marks from storage, but otherwise SUPERB! This features the RARER faux fur lining, as opposed to the summer version that was made of a cloth or satin material. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
