You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Schlenker-Grusen Model 1943 Blinduhr (Blind Flying Clock), Fl. 23888, as used in various bombers and destroyers, such as the Ju88, He111, He177, Me110, and others!Usually mounted at the Navigator's position, this clock needs no introduction. It was made famous throughout the war as the standard Blind Flying Navigation clock for most bombers.Made of aluminum with a bakelite bezel, this clock is an VERY NICE example. Some marks and scratches throughout, but is in otherwise overall EXCELLENT in condition. It retains much of its original paint, and is 100% FUNCTIONAL! Complete, apart from the outer casing. Outer bezel is frozen, but that is quite common (should be easy to free up with some lubriation).Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, panel re-build, or restoration project!
