British Airborne red i.e. maroon beret. The beret is mounted with an original Parachute Regiment cap badge. Makers marked Kangol Wear Limited and size 7 1/4. The beret is is fitted with original paper size label. Textbook marked with the War Deparment acceptance stamp and lettercode Z indicating 1945 as the year of issue. A stunning example of this iconic piece of Airborne headgear in light used condition. Would be very hard to upgrade.
