Description

WWII Japanese National Meatball Flag- This Japanese Flag flew over Inchon Korea and was surrendered on Sept 19. 1945 to Lt. Ray Saarela who was attached to the 7thInfantry Division. The flag is produced in a heavy bunting material with a sewn red center. The hoist end had a heavy rope going through for hanging. The flag has definitely been flown a good while as evidence of the very frayed fly end. There is also some other hole, tears or stains. A very neat flag with some history attached to it!
