Original era manufacture. A nice grouping to John S Poole, who served as a Waggoner with the 55th Coastal Artillery during WWI. The lot includes his four clasp Victory Medal, Aisne-Marne, Oise-Aisne, Meuse-Argonne & Defensive Sector Clasp, French WWI Verdun Medal and boxed, 55th CAC medal. In addition documents for the French Verdun Medal named to Poole are included. Massachusetts men who fired French 155 mm cannon in the Trenches of WWI.
