1937 Belgian REX Fascist Party Election Campaign Poster

Approximately 24 inches by 33 inches. The top of the poster bears the declaration of 'Erger dan de Oorlog!' ('Worse than the war!') above an image of a church is Spain that was destroyed. Below this image the text of the poster states 'Ein ziedaar wat het kommunisme in Spanje gedaan heeft. Het ergste is dat het al maar dichter bij ons komt. Wat zal er van ons geworden? Gelukkig hebben we REX om den weg te vesperren. Al de anderen laten de boel maar draaien….Dus moeten we op 11 April stemmen voor REX' ('This is what communism has done in Spain. The worst part is that it's getting closer and closer to us. What will become of us? Fortunately, we have REX to cover the road. Everyone else just lets things run…. So we have to vote for REX on April 11'). The poster shows fold lines and edge tears, with some tiny holes in the fold lines, but the colors are bright and the poster makes a very good appearance.
