German Pre WWI Regimental Flask, IR 98, 1901-03

Original era manufacture. A complete example, and one which has sat on our own collection shelf for several years.Glass bodied, decorativecanteen with colored panels on each side. Red-white-black twisted cotton cord, now quite faded from age. The ends of which are formed into the ends of bayonet troddels. Screw-off cap with an eagle finial. Nice bronze medallion on the reverse of the canteen body.No damage, just normal age and wear.
