17th Century European Walloon Sword

The sword has an overall length of approximately 36 inches, with a blade length of approximately 30 inches. Both sides of the blade are dark, showing surface rust but with faint designs visible on the upper portions of the blade on each side. The pierced hilt, guard and pommel all show a dark and uncleaned patina. The wood grip shows age, with minor chips and cracks and is missing its wire wrap.
