Spanish Civil War Gas Mask in Carrying Canister

The gas mask shows age and storage wear but it does not appear to have ever been actually used or even issued. The mask remains supple with the lenses showing toning. All attachment straps are intact. The interior of the mask retains a protective cardboard insert. The mask is wrapped in brown storage paper. The air filter remains unattached to the mask. The compartment inside of the lid for extra lenses is empty. The canister shows wear and age to the exterior paint. The canister carrying straps are present. Overall very good condition.
