WWII Model 1936 Italian Navy Helmet

The exterior green paint is approximately 70 percent intact, with typical loss and resultant rust on the top of the helmet exterior. The front displays the stenciled anchor and crown insignia. The interior liner is complete, while showing wear and use, with the leather chin strap remaining present and intact. The liner is stamped as a size '59'. The liner drawstring is broken. The interior rear rim of the helmet is marked 'P1' together with the crown and anchor mark.
