British Victorian Era 9th (Queen's Royal) Lancer Regiment EM/NCO Helmet

The helmet plate displays battle honors into the Second Afghan War such as Kandahar in 1880. The black leather body of the helmet exhibits typical age crazing as well as scuffs from use, but the body is complete and intact, with the brass circular link chin strap being present. The interior fabric lining remains present inside of the helmet. The brass components of the helmet, to include the helmet plate, the lion head side mounts, and the chin strap, all show a fine, uncleaned patina. Overall the helmet is most impressive and it is in very good condition.
